PAINTED WALLS

Some painted walls, particularly old walls, can be very delicate to deal with depending on the type of brick they were built from. When it comes to removing paint from the surface, The Complete Restoration Company looks at each wall individually and assesses which paint stripping process will be the most suitable, from sand blasting to chemical cleaning.

If we detect that the bricks are hard, we remove the paint by carefully shot blasting the brick back to the natural surface. However, if the bricks or stone are soft we use a specific chemical process as shot blasting will damage the brick or stone beyond repair.

We then neutralise the chemicals on the surface of the wall, re-point any mortar that has disintegrated over the years, ready for you to enjoy it in all its natural splendour.
